Different Factors: It depends on what causes you to only get 5 hours. Are you going to be late or just waking up early? Is there anything in your environment that's causing you discomfort or waking you up? Have you been screened for possible sleep apnea?

You need more: Most of the people need 7-8 hours of sleep to feel refreshed and rested during the daytime, however, some people are short sleeper and need only 5-6 hours of sleep and some people are longer sleeper and need 9-10 hours of sleep to feel refreshed during the daytime, therefore if you feel rested with 5 hours of sleep, it should not be any problem.
