A member asked:

What is the association between lymphoma and hypothyroidism?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lymphoma and thyroid: Hashimoto's thyroiditis is an immune attack on the thyroid which can over time provoke lymphoma through overstimulation of the lymph tissue in the area. Lymphoma can also be seen with other autoimmune conditions such as sjogren's syndrome, crohn's disease, common variable immunodeficiency, and rheumatoid arthritis.
