Pneumonitis: many asthma exacerbations are due to viral infections, which can go deep and thus cause viral pneumonitis. Also possible us what is caused a superinfection, in which you get a bacterial pneumonia after a viral infection due to weakened immune system. Have yourself checked out at your GP or nearest urgent care center to see if either of these is possible.

Needs to be checked: You have asthma and got cold and feel there is fluid in your lung. You did not mention what meds or inhalers you are using or not and if you have any temp and shortness of breath.I suggest you get yourself checked by your doctor asap as you may need a good exam and may need Chest Xray to rule out Pnumonia and get treated appropriately
