Good question: The long-term health effects of the herbicide agent orange are not well-studied or confirmed, but may include certain cancers, including prostate cancer, soft tissue sarcomas, and non-hodgkin’s lymphoma. Although there is no likely association with thyroid nodules and cancer, one study yielded preliminary findings suggestive of a three-fold increased risk of graves' disease.
