Swollen Uvula: You likely had an endotracheal tube placed which put pressure on the Uvula. This is normal. Drink cool-cold liquids, take motrin or advil (ibuprofen). It will gradually improve over the next 2-3 days. If not, see your doctor.

Uvula: Common after surgery. The uvula may be swollen from trauma. You need to have it looked at and may need antibiotics. Avoid spicy or acidic fluids as they may burn. Suggest go to the ER today

Uvula: Check with your anesthesia provider. They may have had difficulty with your airway while you were under GA.

Not uncommon: The uvula may be swollen from trauma after endotracheal intubation. Rinse with warm salt water and NSAIDs OTC for a few days. Good luck.
