Other workup ???: A 16 yo without her first period deserves a workup with a variety of tests that rule out some interesting and unusual problems.If that has been done,a round of hormones to induce a cycle would be a reasonable step.The hormones by themselves are not risky to most (exceptions apply) and would not interfere with later fertility. No Periods: You donT have to take hormones. You can wait for nature to take its course You should have no trouble conceiving later on
