SAD SSRI: Seasonal Affective Disorder is real. To manage, yes an SSRI can help. Also, good circadian sleep cycles, daily (DAILY) exercise, vitamin D3 (~2000 iu), healthy diet of minimal animal fat, modest lean protein, lots of colored fruit and veggies per day, and good personal interactions that are supportive (spouse, friend). Look for what sunshine exists each day. Be thankful. Be well.
