39 y f. amh .21 on 19.07.2014. took 2 ovares daily for 60 days. amh .1 on 24.09.2014. doc suggested ivf with donor's egg. any chance with own egg?

Of course: it may be that your OB thinks you'll have better success with fertilizing a donor egg because of your age, but just because you are older is not an absolute contraindication to conception. Risk factors for older women ( >35) include congenital birth defects, malpresentation, gestational or type 2 Diabetes, hypertension, placental insufficiency and a few more. BUT you are in the drivers seat !

Guarded...: Tough question. The AMH is not favorable, but age 39 generally means a good prognosis. I'm afraid there is no text-book answer. You need a serious discussion 1-on-1 with a fertility expert to consider what your best option will be. Best wishes.
