Most primary care: physicians would do the same gynecological evaluation that a gynecologist would do when being seen for a routine check up.

Depends...: The regular PE done by a PCP is targeting basically all organ systems and making sure your overall health is good. GYN exams usually cover your genitalia and breasts. However there are GYN providers that can provide primary care in general and if they feel comfortable might do the regular PE as well. Discuss this with your provider in order to decide what type of exam you need at this time.

Possibly: The physical done by the OB will likely be more thorough with the female organs and issues and the exam by the primary care provider will likely be more thorough with the rest of your body and issues.

Depends: A Primary Care Physician may focus on Preventive care and medical problems and may not do a pelvic exam routinely. An OB/GYN exam may focus on gynecological issues , and not just Preventive Care. Medical problems are usually handled by the Primary Care Provider.
