No.: No, but a rectal/vaginal exam should be part of a gyn exam. This helps the physician evaluate the wall between the rectum and vagina.

Examinations: There may have not been any need for this type of exam at your visit. One does not do a check list of things in an exam. Now a days in medicine we use examination based upon the need for new information or based upon the symptoms or history for the visit. It very well may be that your physician did not see any need to do an exam that will have not changed.
