Yes, it is: If you have had an allergic reaction it is normal have those bumps. Its as if your taste buds went a little haywire. Give it a week or two to resolve. Call your doctor if you develop ulcers or bleeding.

Depends: There are an assortment of normal "bumps" or papillae located in the tongue.The most prominent are located in a row near the back or root of the tongue (vallate papilla), while others on the side and surface are rarely notices.
