Probably: Psychosomatic pain will more than likely improve once the root cause has been identified and treated. In your case, medications for anxiety and depression should help, but can take several weeks for full effect. I hope you are feeling better soon!

Yes. : However, the meds take time - allow a couple weeks to begin to see change. Also, your starting dose may not be your final effective dose. In the meantime, regular moderate exercise, like walking, 30 minutes to an hour a day (1 hour is better) will give you good antidepressant benefits also. So if you are able, get started walking (or biking, roller skating, etc. - your choice)! Hope that helps.
