Red spot: it is possible that this red spot is caused by the Strep that you have, but there are also many other things that can cause red spots. If it remains after you recover from Strep then see a dentist and have it checked.

Tongue and red spot: The tongue naturally has small red spots known as lingual papillae However, if the red spots on the back of the tongue appear to be growing or changing shape or color and has pain they should be investigated to determine what is wrong.
