A member asked:

How long is it supposed to it take for symptoms of oral thrush to appear?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unknown: The yeast that produces oral thrush is around us everywhere & ends up as 5%+ of the dry weight of poo. It is likely planted into the oral cavity repeatedly by infant fingers & swallowed. It may find the lush environment of babies mouth a happy place to stay & attach to the inner cheeks, feeding off the sugar in babies feeds. No clear starting point means no clear "incubation" period.
