A member asked:

Xray results say 2mm calcification in left side of pelvis & faecal residue throughout the colon what does that mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely normal: Small calcifications in the pelvis called phleboliths are relatively common. These are normal and not harmful. It could also be a kidney stone if the x-ray was a plain x-ray. Faecal residue in the colon is an expected finding. It is just your next bowel movement waiting to come out.
