Fragmented sesamoid bone at head of 5th metatarsal pain worsening but no1 can explain y cos it shouldn't be there n no1 will treat it?

Fracture: It rare but possible to have a 5th metatarsal sesamoid 4.7% according to one article. I suggest you get an MRI to check if the sesamoid is fractured vs a possible pathology in the surrounding tissues or joint. Physical therapy is one option at this point.
