Unsure but effective: None of the studies that I reviewed provided the time of onset of action of bacterial lysate treatment. All of the studies that I reviewed analyzed the effect of bacterial lysate treatment on the incidence of infections in susceptible children and adults (with immune deficiency, chronic bronchitis, COPD, HIV) over a longer period (6-12 months). It does reduce the incidence of infections.
