Blood in nose: Sometimes you have a cold/allergies and do not realize it and it dries out the nose that leads to bleeding. Moisturize by placing a bit of vasoline inside the tip of your nose twice a day. Do not use cocaine. Fish oil, ginger, Vit E and othee herbal promote bleeding. Are you on ASA or warfarin or blood thinners? Follow up with a doctor/urgent care

I recently developed Arachnoiditis from a blood patch (clumped nerves L5-S1). About three weeks ago I notice a small amount of CSF leak in right nostril during the night. Fluid would come out the left side, off and on for years until a craniotomy in 2009.
Half golf ball size tender bump on back of head behind left ear-no trauma. Swollen lymph nodes in that area & stiff neck. Blood work came back normal.
