A strain: This pain is most likely related to strain or overuse..you may not be aware of how or when it occurred. Since you have no other symptoms and are young, I think you can manage it yourself for a couple days: ice (15 minutes 3-4 times/day), then possibly heat, gentle stretching, avoid re-injury, & ibuprofen 600 mg three times a day for just a couple days. If not better, to PCP. Good luck!
