Have blood tested: Your physician should be testing you for free T4, free T3 (liothyronine), (liothyronine) TSH, and Reverse T3 (liothyronine) and of course should rule out other conditions (such as anemia) besides hyperthyroidism. It does usually take a few months to get the proper dose of thyroid medicines worked out and you may need to see a specialist if a generalist can't make the diagnosis or help you to feel better. Good luck!
