Not very accurate: FFN, or fetal fibronectin is rarely helpful when it is positive, many things can cause a positive FFN. Preterm labor is only one of many things. In your case with a positive test, the likelihood that you may be going into preterm labor, or the likelihood of having a preterm delivery should be based on other things, such as cervical dilation, strength and frequency of uterine contractions, etc.
