Waht can be use to treat enlarged prostate?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on cause: Enlarged prostate due to infection is usually treated with antibiotics. If its due to benign prostatic hypertrophy, then medication such as flomax, (tamsulosin) or even surgery are used. If cancer is the reason for enlargement, surgery or radiation treatment are typically used. A urologist is the one to diagnose and treat these disorders. Hope this helps!
