Venous Insufficiency: of left testicular veins draining into left renal vein is quite common leading to left testicular varicocele. Weight lifting, obesity & anything producing ↑ed venous pressure in abdomen, transient/recurrent will promote. A common usually effective treatment is coil embolization of the left testicular vein to stop reflux, relying on the right testicular vein for blood return. Inflammation secondary.

Varicocele: I presume you may mean a varicocele, which is noticed by many men as an increased cluster of blood vessels surrounding the left testis. Large varicoceles are often described as resembling "a bag of worms." I recommend you have an examination by your doctor to know for sure.
