Hcg dropping: Your hcg level should not drop in a viable pregnancy. I would have it repeated in a few more days to confirm it is dropping. A dropping hcg is consistent with a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. However, while lab error is unlikely, I still repeat a level if dropping and no miscarriage symptoms.
