Recommend exam: Though a bit unusual to START having migraine headaches at age 43- as the saying goes, "it's never too late." A good neurologist or headache specialist will get a detailed history on you in terms of headaches & other problems to try to & discover the root cause before starting treatment which if not careful can lead to even more headaches. I would start tracking your headaches on a log & get seen.
