Sneezing and coughing: may mean viral illness. however in the setting of recent tonsillectomy throat infection need to be considered. may need to talk to your surgeon to further evaluate the issue so they can look at your throat

Could: without an exam, I can only give general information, it is common after having a tube down the throat after an operation to have inflammation and increased secretions in the uuper resp tract. Incentive spirometry is generally recommended to speed recovery.
