Did an ultrasound 5wks4dys. hcg was 858. tech only saw a thick lining. is this a good sign? didn't do a vaginal ultrasound.

Dates: sometimes as early as 5 - 6 weeks a yolk sac or fetal pole may not show up. and there is a wide range for the HCG. You may want to see your OB in a couple weeks to have it repeated
