A member asked:

My psychiatrist is talking about puting me on cesamet. what does that drug do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cannabinioid: Cesamet is the European and UK brand of nabilone, which is a cannabinoid used generally for severe nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy or other conditions that can cause severe nausea and vomiting. Am not sure why a psychiatrist would be doing this for you, particularly if you are not in the above category of illness. It may be off-label for some other use. Talk to doctor/pharmacist.
