Depends on wound: If it's a tiny scratch or puncture, wash the area thoroughly and apply antibiotic ointment. If gaping wound you should seek medical attention promptly. Hopefully your dog has been vaccinated. If minor and you have not had tetanus booster in last 10 years see your doctor for a booster. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!
