Normal: If your baby is otherwise feeding well and gaining weight, there is usually no problem associated. If there are changes in the cry,feeding or breathing pattern, please see your pediatrician right away.

Be patient: Don't assume anything about how/why a week old baby acts. If they are in pain they fuss or refuse feeds. They yawn, squeak, stretch out, randomly kick & move all out of basic reflexes and body maintenance. If some pattern bothers you have the baby examined.
