How is she acting: If your niece is otherwise fine, is eating well, is playful when her fever is down and is not in pain or lethargic you can watch her for another day or two, If she appears ill, does not lower her temp with acetaminophen, is not acting well she should be seen. She will, if the fever persists, need a urine test and an exam
