Define blockage: A number of malignancies are associated with swallowing difficulty. The nature of the malignancy and the site of blockage has to be defined. If secondary to RT the symptoms will subside. If lesion in esophagus is noted and not resectable, a stent can be inserted to bypass the blockage. If this is a blockage in the stomach region a feeding jejunostomy or feeding gastrostomy can be inserted
