Manage it: There's no quick fix for a pimple and nothing you can do on your own will touch a scar. Retinoic acid topically is a vitamin A derivative and it's also good for preventing pimples and may help fade post-inflammatoryp pigmentation. I hope that whether or not this meets your criteria for 'natural', you won't ignore what the 21st century has to offer you for Rx of this serious illness or any other.

How deep: It all depends if your scars are just discolorations or a depression. Fraxel skin resurfacing sessions will help for both but in general the scar cannot be completely erased from your face. They can just be made less visible.

There aren't any: Depressed scars are permanent; red / brown marks fade in months. I'm really sorry you ended up with these lesions, and I hope it was not the result of a caregiver's preference for "natural remedies" over treatments that actually work. Get with your personal physician about managing your disease; if it's scarring, you'll need prescription-strength Rx.
