Need more information: Sorry to hear. We cannot answer the question properly without additional information but for starters, I suggest he get himself a good multi specialty team that can evaluate his situation from all the angles. Best to all.

Grade, stage, type: That's scary news to hear. He's got a lot of thinking to do. Depending on type of tumor (lung vs gut vs blood, etc), it's size/bulk, speed of growth, and where it's moved, if at all, the docs will develop a plan with him. Debulking can be by chemo and/or radiation and/or surgery. Patients do best w/ multidisciplinary teams. Remember, sometimes "healing" isn't just about "curing" on this journey.
