Normal, but: That's normal but, like grades, it can always be better. The raw number, actually, isn't very helpful since the components include both bad and good cholesterol and the higher the latter, the better. So check on your LDL (bad) and HDL (good) and see what they are. If you HDL is >60, your total cholesterol may seem a bit high, but you're at lower than average risk.
