Depends on the Ca: Most malignancies have the capability of spreading. The release of matrixmetalloproteinase causes e-cadherin holding cells to become small e-cadherin allowing spread. If the lesion is to multiple areas it is harder to treat then to a single organ and if the tumor is pancreas cancer prognaosis is poor. For lung lesions can be bad and for bowel lesions more favorable with the right chemotherapy.
