Antibiotics ICU: Your baby will require intensive antibiotic therapy in the ICU. The docs and nurses will take good care of your baby. Hang in there.

While your baby is : in the NICU, ask the staff for an electric breast pump to store breast milk. While giving antibiotics, the staff monitors for complications, tests vision & hearing & does brain ultrasounds/ MRI & EEG as needed. At discharge they refer you to an Early Intervention Program to monitor your baby's development from the get-go, specialists to monitor recovery & your primary pediatrician. All are needed
