PCP is wrong: Hi. Please get a second opinion from an endocrinologist. Something IS wrong (at least not normal). You have a form of hyperthyroidism. Following your thyroid function over time would help. The hyperthyroidism could be a transient thyroiditis or could evolve to be more hyperthyroid, or could be stable. Getting a nuclear medicine thyroid uptakes and scan would help the diagnosis too. Good luck!

Tsh is not normal: "Normal ranges"can vary for different lab providers, so you always have to keep that in mind when a number is mentioned without further background. However a TSH of 0.01 is not a normal finding for any commercial lab. It indicates suppression- meaning you body feels that there is more thyroid than it needs so it stops signaling for further production.Recheck labs or get 2nd opinion.

It's near average: although all the numbers are running in the right direction for an activated thyroid (autonomous nodule secreting thyroid hormone is my guess). In any case, follow up repeats are a good idea for tests that show an abnormality but not a definite nor significant nor consistent one.
