Varies: Presumably you have had a negative MRI of the thoracic spine, which is good at ruling out major structural causes there. Other possibilities include vascular causes, non spinal neurological conditions, and involvement of other areas of the central nervous system. Consider seeing a neurologist if you have not seen one.
