Too soon: You do not state how long you have been trying, whether you were on birth control before (and for how long). At least a year without conceiving and no other treatable causes for the failure to do so is necessary before any diagnosis of infertility can be made. Get a check up and talk to your doc Kids are very expensive. Be in a good place job-wise, relationship-wise before conceiving.
