A member asked:

Touched door and chair of someone with ringworm then i touched my face will i catch it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ringworm: Probably not. While ringworm can be transmitted by inanimate objects, the patient with the infection would have had to rub the rash itself on the chair or door and you would have had to touch those spots. Typically, ringworm is transmitted on a hat or moist athletic shoes that were previously worn by someone with ringworm on the head or foot.
