Here are some ...: Although no specific recommended prep for readying the site for specimen taking, it's prudent to leave the intended site for swab alone for some 12 hours if possible so to maximize the potential yield of NAAT. However, if such advice couldn't be kept, less time is still acceptable. So, follow advice and work with Doc if possible to hope gaining better quality of test and care.
