Umm, yes...mostly: Simply put, the prostate massage will likely produce more fluid to test, and therefore will likely get better results. So, ideally, we would want to do the prostate massage before the swab test. In practice, we usually just swab the urethra if we don't order a urine-based chlamydia test.
