False positive chlamydia tests are extremely rare, and they are not caused by either pregnancy or BV. However, pregnancy is a state of immune deficiency, and could allow a previously suppressed infection (which you might have had for years) to become detectable. That's much more likely than a false test. You and your partner need to play it safe, i.e. you both need treatment. Good luck.
