A member asked:

I am 49 years old, and experience vaginal door which is different than before , i don't have any abdominal pain . is it due to menopause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: There are definitely changes in the vagina with menopause and this could be what you are experiencing. It could also be bacterial vaginosis in which the normally predominate peroxidase positive lactobacillus are killed off and replaced by anaerobes which are stinky.BV usually causes an odor, sometimes a discharge which is noticable, but seldom any pain or itching. check with your doctor to be sure
