Stop worrying: Just follow it. If you don't bleed excessively when you nick yourself shaving, you're probably fine. Reference ranges are set so that several percent of healthy folks fall outside on either end. This may simply be you -- there are about a dozen genetic diseases with limited numbers of large platelets, and perhaps you have a very mild case, with some of them not subdividing.
