I experience "episodes" when i sleep. i become paralyzed and experience high pressure and tingling in my head. it is very painful. any thoughts?

Sleep Paralysis: Frank, although I am not sure from the description you provide, it is possible you are talking about sleep paralysis which can occur with narcolepsy, severe sleep deprivation, obstructive sleep apnea (untreated) and other sleep disorders.
