A member asked:

Head aching due to pressure on sleep, what to do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See a doctor: Most headaches get better during sleep, not worse. If you are waking up from sleep with a headache, there's something wrong. A couple problems are common: sleep apnea (do you snore?) and increased brain pressure (many different causes, some dangerous). Either problem is serious and is likely treatable. You should see a doctor to see what's going on to cause your headache with sleep.
