Mild Facet joint : I think you meant to type (Facet Joint ) not Face. Lumbar MRI evaluate the facet joints and can show degenerative changes ( fluid in joint, or hyper trophy which is enlargement ) and these changes can narrow the spinal canal and / or neural foramen narrowing ( where nerve exit the spine.

My mother complain from low back pain radiating to right thigh.she took analgesics for about 30-40 days and the pain not improving. MRI show L4-5 mild posterior disc bulge obliterating anterior epidural fat and indenting the thecal sac?
