Ear/ throat pain: Seek medical attention today at doc /urgent care / telemedicine. You likely have a sore throat or ear infection that may benefit from antibiotics. There is a tube from the back of the mouth that goes to the ear the Eustachian tube, that is irritated with throat infections and causes the popping ( it helps equalize pressure when descending in airplanes too which is why our ears pop then)

Hello. Recently, I had a dry throat that would come off and on and now my ears keep popping every time I swallow. Its somewhat painful, but its more bothersome than anything. Could this be Covid or could be anxiety?!
Chest pain, heat in throat (when breathing, not swallowing), ears popping. EGD/24h pH find no acid/erosion. PPIs,diet change ineffective. Whats wrong?
